Two City Sonic Toronto Bands on the Polaris Music Prize Shortlist
July 8, 2009Well, it’s official. The short list for the Polaris prize has finally been unveiled. The 10 nominees for best Canadian album include two bands who are part of the City Sonic film series, so congratulations to Fucked Up for their album “The Chemistry Of Common Life” and to Great Lake Swimmers for “Lost Channels.” There are a bunch of exceptional Canadian artists on the list, so check out the Polaris site for more details.
