Geddy Lee at Massey Hall film coming soon
September 11, 2009Friends and lovers of Rush: we want to remind you that we’ve got a wonderful short with Geddy Lee at Massey Hall directed by Bruce McDonald on the way. And that we won’t be posting it here today, as is our custom, because it gets its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend. Do join us Sunday, September 13 at 12 noon under the fancy movie watching tarp at Yonge and Dundas square. (It screens before the feature Woodstock.) We’ll be posting it here and on mobile immediately following the premiere.
Meanwhile, you can catch Rush’s Alex Lifeson tonight if you’ve got a ticket to the world premiere of Suck. Lifeson has a cameo in the Canadian vampire comedy and rumour says he’ll make an appearance at the screening. Perhaps that means he’ll be at Yonge and Dundas for the special free Suck event at 6:30, featuring live performance by the Burning Brides plus cast from the film.
