Artist Announcement: Tony Dekker (Great Lake Swimmers) at Spadina Subway Station

Is the subway a “music” venue? That was the question we asked ourselves when planning to make a film around the Great Lake Swimmers song “I Will Never See the Sun” – which Tony Dekker wrote about his daily commute on the TTC. With the environmental sounds of the trains, the chimes, the buskers seducing (OK, sometimes annoying) Toronto transit riders we determined that yes, the TTC is a place where music history can happen too.
