Director of Photography John Price grabs Sarah using his 16mm Bolex

We paired Sarah with one of the venues where she first became known to Toronto audiences, the Rivoli. But when she told us what it was like to study music and philosophy at the University of Toronto, we knew we wanted to film her there as well. It turns out U of T only allows shooting when classes are not in session; we were fortunate to have her spend time with us there on a warm Easter Monday. No more teachers’ dirty looks…
