There must be hundreds if not thousands of musicians with great memories of the Concert Hall (aka, the Masonic Temple). But when we met the mystical trio Lioness we knew is was a true perfect fit. All three members have a penchant for ritual and rock ‘n’ roll, with a very particular connection to magic. It’s a delight to have one of the city’s most exciting new artists takes us inside one of its oldest music venues.

New Video From City Sonic Toronto Artist, Lioness: “You’re My Heart”
June 11, 2009Pausing for a moment on the NXNE buzz button, want to share the brand new music video from Lioness. We’re currently in production on a City Sonic film with this wicked Toronto trio and while I won’t reveal what it’s all about yet, consider this mystical clip for “You’re My Heart” a clue. Oh, and don’t forget Lioness is playing our NXNE bash Wed June 17 at the Drake. (Sorry, guess this is a NXNE buzz post after all.
